Homelab Rclone Backup is a private, personal-use application operated solely by the owner of this domain. It is not offered as a service to other users.

Google user data accessed

The application uses Google OAuth to obtain permission to access Google Drive for the purpose of storing, listing, retrieving, verifying and deleting backup files as part of the owner's backup and disaster-recovery workflow.

How Google user data is used

Google Drive access is used only to perform backup and recovery operations initiated or scheduled by the account owner. The application does not use Google user data for advertising, profiling, analytics, marketing, or any unrelated purpose.

Storage and encryption

Backup contents are encrypted on the owner's system before being uploaded to Google Drive using client-side encryption. OAuth credentials and encryption credentials are retained only as required to operate and recover the owner's backup system.

Sharing and disclosure

Google user data obtained through this application is not sold, rented, shared with advertisers, or disclosed to third parties for commercial purposes. Data is transferred only between the owner's systems and Google Drive as required for backup and recovery.

Retention and deletion

Backup files may be replaced or deleted according to the owner's backup retention policy. The owner may also revoke the application's Google Account access at any time through Google Account security settings.

Limited use

The application's use of information received from Google APIs is limited to providing the personal backup and disaster-recovery functionality described on this site.
